Lake Chelan Wedding
There are some wedding venues that just feel like a wedding the second you step onto the property. Karma Vineyards is one of those.
Perched above Lake Chelan with rows of vineyards rolling down the hillside, it has this wide-open, cinematic feel to it. You get the lake, the mountains, the vines, and honestly, it starts to feel a little like you’ve been dropped into Lake Como, Italy… just without the long flight. It has that same layered look. Water, hillsides, vineyards, and soft light, but still feels relaxed and Pacific Northwest.

Ceremony Overlooking Lake Chelan
The ceremony space sits up high, with the vineyards dropping down below and the lake stretching out in the distance. It’s one of those views that doesn’t need anything added to it. It’s perfect. No crazy installs. No over-decorating. Just a clean setup and letting the landscape do what it does.
When the ceremony started, everything kind of locked in. You could feel the shift from people mingling and talking to everyone being fully present. The kind of quiet where you actually hear the vows, not just watch them happen.
Dancing in the Cellar
One of the most unique parts of this wedding was where the dancing actually happened. Instead of being fully outside, everyone moved down into the wine cellar at Karma Vineyards, and it completely changed the feel of the night.
The cellar has this warm, dim, enclosed atmosphere that you just can’t replicate outside. Stone, wood, low lighting—it instantly feels more intimate. And because of that, the energy builds fast. People are closer together. The music hits a little harder. It feels less like a formal reception and more like an actual party.
By the time the dance floor got going, it wasn’t holding back at all. High energy, packed in, everyone fully in it. It ended up being the perfect contrast to the rest of the day—the open, scenic ceremony overlooking the lake, followed by this tight, electric space where everyone just let loose.
And honestly, it’s one of those things that made the film feel dynamic. You go from wide, cinematic views of Lake Chelan… to this contained, high-energy dance floor underground.

Close to Home
